I am so excited to talk to you today about Maurice Kain’s Fabric of the Month: Jupiter. As an interior designer, I’ve had the pleasure of working with this stunning fabric, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer!
Jupiter comes in a whopping 320cm continuous length, which is perfect for tall ceilings or large-scale projects. It’s always such a headache to find fabrics that are long enough for those tall spaces, so Jupiter definitely saves the day in that regard.
And the colours! Jupiter comes in eight beautiful colours that are sure to suit any decor scheme. My personal favourite is Linen – it’s such a versatile neutral that goes with just about anything. But the other colours are equally lovely, ranging from soft pastels to bold jewel tones.
Now, let’s talk about the real magic of Jupiter: its texture. This fabric has a lovely soft feel and drapes beautifully, making it perfect for curtains, drapes, and other soft furnishings like Roman Blinds. I recently used the Linen colour on a wave heading in one of my client’s homes, and it created the perfect soft and modern look we were going for.
Overall, I am so impressed with Maurice Kain’s Jupiter fabric. It’s beautiful, versatile, and practical, which is the holy trinity of fabric qualities in my book! So, if you’re looking for a fabric that can do it all, I highly recommend giving Jupiter a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
